We Are Just A Pawn
One of our followers "Common Sense" posted this comment yesterday.
This is all playing out like we all feared.
JetBlue came here just to placate Massport to get their additional gates/ expanded service at Logan. My uneducated guess is that their making money with the 80% loads on the FL flights, but maybe their breaking even on the JFK flight. They’re just doing the bare minimum to maintain their service here.
They have no interest in expanding their footprint here. It was just a business decision to give ORH some crumbs for a much more profitable expansion at Logan. I'm not sure I disagree with them either.
Why deploy more assets to ORH when they could just as easily use them in an existing route at another airport thus saving more overhead. I just have a bad feeling that in 3 years we will have the same service we have now at ORH. It's a shame that ORH has been a pawn in their game.
No way is JetBlue breaking even on NYC route

I guess common sense would rather go back to no commercial service, then then he could not complain

Your comment is very typical. Common Sense is actually saying the complete opposte that we should be taken seriously and have more commercial traffic after investing over $120 million dollars and provide real relief to Logan.

It shouldn't be a choice of either having lousy commercial service or no commercial service. There should be a happy medium. That's all I'm hoping for.

Seriously, man. Proofread your work. It would make your commentary much more credible.
