Providence Is Far From "Little To No Competition"
Any time we see any reference to "Moxy" Airlines, we see a line like this
Moxy is expected to be a low-cost carrier in the U.S. using secondary airports in locations such as Burbank, Fort Worth, Gary, Long Island and Providence.
Neeleman has mentioned that he is targeting airports with “little to zero competition,”. Is Providence an airport with "little to zero competition"???
On the other hand would not consider Worcester as an airport with "little to zero competition", like Gary Indiana!! We wish this was not the case but it is..
We hope Massport is using their past relationship establishing JetBlue in Boston to bring "Moxy" to Worcester Airpoort.

Neeleman suggested that in addition to domestic city pairs that have no non-stop airline service, the new company could fly from cities in the northeastern U.S. to Europe, staying away from existing hubs; and that it will operate from Florida to South America where it will link up with the route network of Brazilian carrier Azul, which Neeleman started 10 years ago. Azul flies to 100 destinations in Brazil and also to Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale.
