Granted only 56 votes but 49 said "yes" to Denis Leary.
Right now one of the biggest problems with Worcester Airport is the marketing. There is none!!!
Do us a favor today ask anyone these two questions:
1) Do you know Worcester Airport has a flight every day to JetBlue's hub in NYC?
2) Do you know Worcester Airport will have two flights per day next month with American to their hub in Philadelphia?
Both of these hub have connections to virtually anywhere you want to fly!! Nobody knows about these flights!!

If you have a product that you don't market the only thing you can rely on is word of mouth. Unfortunately, people are much more likely to share negative experiences than positive ones. Maybe someone at a cookout this weekend will share to a friend or family member about the negative experiences they had with the JetBlue service to NYC (flight is regularly late or cancelled). Maybe that person mentions it to a co-worker. It has a multiplying effect. Worcester has a population of 216,000 (including the college students). There are tens of thousands more in the ORH catchment area. These flights should be at 100% loads since they offer flights to a hub that is one of the busiest international airports in the world. Add a second flight or just pull it in favor of a west coast Florida flight. ORH doesn't need any more negative PR.

Don't forget too the 20-some million that live in the NYC area. Worcester aside ORH should be attractive enough to draw from some of the millions in the Boston area as well. It's astounding really the flight is performing so bad. It's inexcusable and if (more like when) the flight officially fails someone should have to answer for it. 16 people flew in tonight from JFK - this is not sustainable for much longer.
