As an admitted Crackberry addict, it is best to e-mail me. I am constantly checking my Blackberry, just ask my wife or any of my friends. Also I have alot of fun working on the airport, so please send me any comments or questions and I will get right back to you.

Worcester Airport (ORH), owned by the City of Worcester, has never been able to reach the level of success of surrounding airports all within an approximately a one hour drive:
- Logan in Boston
- TF Green in Providence
- Bradley in Hartford
- Manchester-Boston in Manchester
It would be very difficult for us to achieve the success of these four airports, but ORH can be a reliable successful secondary airport that can become an asset for the people of Central Massachusetts. There is no reason ORH can not be a great place to avoid long lines, pay low rates for parking ($7 per day or $42 per week) and fly direct to popular leisure locations. Initial targeting locations should be Florida and Myrtle Beach. That is where Direct Air comes in.
That said, the City of Worcester needs to get out of the airport business. An RFP (Request for Proposal) needs to be issued looking for a potential suitor for either long-term lease or outright sell. There are many potential buyers like MassPort, Avports or maybe National Express, who ran Stewart International airport after they long-term leased the airport from that municipality (Newburgh, NY). N ational Express did such a good job that they recently sold out the remaining term of their lease to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Bottom line is that we need to bring in experts that run airports.
